A Local Law Amending the Waterways Regulation

Local Law No. 2 of the year 1985

A LOCAL LAW AMENDING THE WATERWAYS REGULATIONS OF THE VILLAGE OF DERING HARBOR

Be it enacted by the BOARD OF TRUSTEES of the VILLAGE OF DERING HARBOR as follows:

Section 1. Article II, Section 2-200, paragraphs(d) and (g) of the Waterways Regulations of the Village of Dering Harbor, enacted by Local Law No. 1, 1984, are hereby amended to read as follows:

Section 2-200 Anchoring and Mooring

(d) All floats must be white or blue and white only, and shall be anchored or moored in such a way as to be secure at all times and under all conditions, and floats attached to shell fish traps must be sufficiently distant from permitted moorings that they do not interfere with boats that may be attached those moorings, and such anchoring and mooring shall be subject to the regulations and directions of the harbor master.

(g) No person shall anchor any vessel within 500 feet of the shoreline of the Village of DeringHarbor.

Section 2. This 1oca1 law shall take effect immediately.
