Notice – Water Operations Update

To the Customers of the Village of Dering Harbor Water Supply,

As part of the construction of the new Village Water Tank, it is necessary to isolate the existing tank and a portion of the Village water system to allow for the installation of new water main and valves to connect the new tank to the water system itself. We are notifying you that this work is planned to be done this Thursday, August 16, 2018. The work will start between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM and is expected to take four (4) hours or less.

During this period, customers that are located in the northwest corner of the Village (to the west and north of Village Hall) will be without water. All other areas should still have water service but may experience rusty or discolored water due to the reversal of flow in the water mains. We apologize for this inconvenience but it is necessary to complete the construction of the new water storage tank. We are striving to make the inconvenience as short as possible.

We appreciate your patience and understanding. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me and the number or e-mail listed below.
