NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that pursuant to §6-614 and §7-724, of the New York State Village Law the Board of Trustees of the Village of Dering Harbor will hold a public hearing on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. prevailing time, at the Dering Harbor Village Hall, Locust Point Road, Dering Harbor, New York, to hear any and all persons either for or against the adoption of a resolution in accordance with §6-612 and §7-724, of the New York State Village Law for the discontinuance; change to the 1943 Official Village Map, and sale of an approximately 50’ by 65’ portion of South Street that abuts the northerly front lot line of the property of George Birman and Phillip A. Gubert, known as 6 South Street, Village of Dering Harbor, Town of Shelter Island, County of Suffolk, Sate of New York and designated as SCTM# 0701-001.00-03.00-018.000.

Copies of the aforesaid request and maps are on file in the Village Hall, and can be reviewed on in the Village Hall, Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, or by appointment with the Village Clerk.
