NOTICE OF VILLAGE GENERAL ELECTION

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Incorporated Village of Dering Harbor will conduct a General Election on Tuesday, June 18, 2019. Polling will be at the Village Hall located at 29 Locust Point Road, Dering Harbor, Shelter Island, New York, on June 18, 2019, from 12:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

The candidates, offices, and terms nominated for are as follows:

Ari Benacerraf, 8 Harbor Lane, Shelter Island, NY 11964 , Trustee for two years, July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2021

Clora Kelly, 15 Locust Point Road, Shelter Island, NY 11964, Trustee for two years, July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2021

In addition, the following proposition will be on the ballot:

Proposition No. 1.  Shall the General Village Election be held on the Friday before Memorial Day as said holiday is set by the Federal Government each year, commencing May of 2020?
