VILLAGE OF DERING HARBOR
RESOLUTION REGARDING SEQRA ADOPTION OF A LOCAL LAW OF 2015 AUTHORIZING A PROPERTY TAX LEVEY IN EXCESS OF THE LIMIT ESTABLISHED IN GENERAL MUNICIPAL LAW SECTION 3-c

WHEREAS the Board of Trustees of the Village of Dering Harbor is considering for
adoption a proposed Local Law of2015 authorizing a property tax levy in excess of the limit
established in General Municipal Law Section 3-c; and
WHEREAS the Board of Trustees has properly noticed and conducted a public hearing on the proposed Local Law of2015; and
WHEREAS the Board of Trustees has reviewed the proposed Local Law of2015 and accompanying materials with respect to the required SEQRA review with respect to the adoption of
the proposed Local Law of2015; it is therefore RESOLVED that the Board of Trustees adopts Lead Agency status for purposes of SEQRA with respect to the consideration and adoption of the proposed Local Law, and it is further
RESOLVED that the Board of Trustees hereby determines that the adoption of the proposed Local Law of2015 authorizing a property tax levy in excess of the limit established in General Municipal Law Section 3-c is a Type II Action for purposes of SEQ RA and that no further SEQRA review is required.
